(Lima, 1931) Mr. Mac Lean studied in the School of Immaculate and the Military School Leoncio Prado. He pursued a law career at the San Marcos University (Lima) and at the Cambridge University (England). He obtained his title of Lawyer and Masters in Law. Mac Lean was a member of the Peruvian Society of International Law, the International Law Association of London, and the International Maritime Committee. Also he worked as legal adviser of the Central Bank of Reserve of Peru. He was member of the Supreme Court of Justice in Peru and referee of the Hague’s International Court of Arbitration in Holland. Simultaneously he was professor of Private International Law, Comparative Law and International Commercial Law at the Catholic University in Peru. He has dictated conferences to national and international audiences and has published several legal works. Mac Lean was distinguished with the Order of the British Empire with the degree of Honorary Commander.
