The Peruvian volleyball squad beat Kazakhstan by a (3-1) score (25-12; 25-16; 25-18) and obtained the second place in Pool P of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2015 Group 3.
Peru's Angela Leyva was the top scorer of the match. She contributed with 15 points; followed by Carla Rueda, who added 12 points.
Peru seemed to have the match under control from beginning to end, which enabled the squad to earn its ticket to Australia’s Final Four. It became Pool P’s and Group 3's second best with a total 15 points. The team played 6 games, winning 5 of them.
"This is a young team, which is accumulating more experience [game after game], that's what we look for […]," coach Mauro Marasciulo told the media.
Peru qualified for the Final Four. This will be held in Canberra (Australia) on July 10-12.
